Dear donators and supporters of the Slovenian Alpine Museum,


The project of the construction of the Museum is funded by the resources from the structural funds of the EU intended for the promotion of regional development, from the budget of the Kranjska Gora municipality and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia. The Foundation of Avgust Delavec has an important role to raise 400,000 euro within the scope of the financial plan for the construction of the Slovenian Alpine Museum.
 
So far, many companies and institutions have financially supported this project.

Since October 2008, the Slovenian Mountaineering Association has been raising funds from the donations within the mountaineering clubs. This will be an important contribution of the Slovene mountain hikers towards the operation of the Museum as the center of the Slovene mountaineering.

By August 2010, we managed to raise 330,000 euro, and goal of the Foundation is to completely fulfill its obligation by the end of the year 2010.
 
There is a Slovene saying that says, “Who likes to give, gives fast, and who gives fast, gives twice.” We would like to thank for the donations made so far.

Golden Donator 2011


In order to encourage companies and individuals to contribute funds for the development of the contents and the program of the Museum, we will name the donator who will meet the conditions in the year 2011, The Golden Donator 2011. His or her name will be permanently stated on a well seen place in the Museum.
