Foundation of Avgust Delavec
The mission of the Foundation is to provide funds for the construction and operation of the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana in accordance with its vision and mission.

By raising funds, the Foundation will help develop those museum contents, programs and projects which will contribute to the realization of expectations of partners as well as of wider mountaineering and cultural community.    

The Foundation is a nonprofit organization. The incomes are used for the establishment, management, and operation.


Founders of the Foundation of Avgust Delavec

The initiative came from Janez Duhovnik, the member of the project council of the Slovenian Alpine Museum project.

The founders are:
Slovenian Mountaineering Association, represented by its president Franc Ekar
Slovene Mountaineering Club Skala - association of mountaineering clubs, represented by its president France Sevšek
Mountaineering Club Dovje- Mojstrana, represented by its president Miro Eržen

We are confident that in the future also other organizations related to hiking, mountaineering, mountain rescuing and guiding in Slovenia would contribute to the successful operation of the Foundation.
